Mission Accomplished: A Year of Milestones Achieved
This past year marked historic growth for PROJECT: VetRelief. We launched a redesigned website, streamlined our financial assistance application, expanded online resources, and strengthened our team to better serve Florida’s veterans.
Together, we celebrated all-time milestones by surpassing 2,000 veterans and families served and $2 million in Emergency Assistance since our founding. We also made our highest level of funding to our Suicide Prevention Initiative (SPI) Strategic Partners, expanding access to Veteran-centered mental health programs.
As the need for assistance continued to rise, approved Emergency Assistance cases increased by 45%, while total funding provided grew by an impressive 74%. This meant we delivered a greater support to veterans and their families when they needed it most.
These achievements were made possible by the generosity of our donors, volunteers, Strategic Partners, and The American Legion Family. Together, we continue changing lives and ensuring Florida’s veterans never face hardship alone.
